Tumbes

Tumbes is located in the north coast of Peru. It limits to the north with Ecuador, to the south with Piura, to the east with Ecuador and to the west with the Pacific Ocean. Between its many atributes in counts with excellent white sandy beaches and places where to practice hunting and fishing. Its waters are warm, well suited for swimming, water-skiing, yatching and oaring. In going after Zorritos is the famous Caleta de la Cruz de Pizarro, where the conquerer with his people landed (more than 4 centuries ago) to begin the conquest of Peru. The manglares are famous and impressives, and there the famous "conchas negras" found a shelter.

Here we can find the National Park Los Cerros de Amotape, with dry forest formations, which give this area a shrubby appearance, what make it different from that of the coast.
