Trujillo

Well-known as `The City of the Endless Springtime` due to its pleasant weather Trujillo is the cradle of pre Hispanic civilizations such as Mochica and Chimú cultures. It is possible to find here the biggest Metropolis of America, Chan Chan, capital of the Chimú culture. Later on, by 1534, with the Spanish settlement on the valley, Trujillo reached to be one of the main cities of the Colony. Within its main attractions there is The Chan Chan Citadel, capital of the Chimú culture and The Huaca del Sol y de la Luna, impressive centers of adoration.
