Imata Natural Stone Formation

The Imata Natural Stone formation is located on the road to Puno, 3 hours 30 minutes away from Arequipa city. It consist on a series of natural stone columns to wich the erosion of the wind has given its particular form. It is well-known because of the impression it gives to be on a mysterious, enchanted and petrified forest.
